Terms of Use

By creating an account, posting a listing or otherwise using Khazu (the website at khazu.co.sz and any related services), you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Payments & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Khazu.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account. If you use Khazu on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these terms.

Khazu is an online marketplace that connects people selling vehicles with people looking to buy them. We host listings and pass enquiries between buyers and sellers.

Khazu is not a party to any sale. Unless a listing is expressly posted by Khazu itself, we do not own, inspect, or take possession of the vehicles listed, and we do not handle the purchase price. Any agreement to buy or sell a vehicle is made directly between the buyer and the seller.

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Dealerships must provide their true business details, and may be asked to verify them before receiving a verified badge.

You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite to a dealership account. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

One person or business may not use multiple accounts to get around listing limits, free trials, or a suspension.

When you list a vehicle you confirm that:

• you own the vehicle or are authorised by its owner to sell it;
• the vehicle is not stolen, and any finance, lien or other interest over it is disclosed in the listing;
• the details you give — including make, model, year, mileage, condition, accident history and price — are true and not misleading;
• the photos are of the actual vehicle and you have the right to use them;
• the vehicle is available for sale, and you will mark it sold or remove it promptly once it is no longer available.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give Khazu a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote that content on Khazu and in our marketing for as long as the listing is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups and records.

The number of listings you can have live depends on your trial or plan. When it ends you cannot post new listings until you renew, and we may hide listings above your remaining allowance.

Khazu does not guarantee that any listing is accurate, that a vehicle is roadworthy, or that a seller will complete a sale. Before paying, we strongly recommend that you:

• inspect the vehicle in person, ideally with a qualified mechanic;
• check the vehicle's registration papers and confirm the seller's identity matches them;
• confirm there is no outstanding finance on the vehicle;
• never pay a deposit or the purchase price before seeing the vehicle, and be wary of anyone who pressures you to pay quickly or through an unusual method.

You must not use Khazu to:

• post false, misleading or duplicate listings, or list a vehicle you are not entitled to sell;
• commit or attempt fraud, including advance-payment and deposit scams;
• harass, threaten or abuse other users, or post offensive or unlawful content in listings, messages or comments;
• collect other users' personal information for purposes unrelated to a vehicle sale, or send them spam;
• copy, scrape or bulk-download listings or other content without our written permission;
• interfere with Khazu's security or operation, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

We may review, edit for formatting, hide or remove any listing, comment or other content, and may suspend or close any account, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms, the law, or puts other users at risk. Where practical, we will tell you why.

If your account is suspended or closed because you broke these terms, you are not entitled to a refund for the unused part of any plan — see the Payments & Refund Policy.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

Browsing and enquiring about vehicles is free. Posting listings beyond your free trial, and optional extras such as listing sponsorships and banner ads, are paid services. Current prices are on our Pricing page. How payments, renewals and refunds work is set out in the Payments & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Khazu is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Khazu is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users, from the condition, title or description of any vehicle, or from any content posted by users. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Khazu is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under the laws of Eswatini, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Khazu after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Eswatini, and the courts of Eswatini have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
